In general, higher is better. The CW1+ antenna is designed to be maximised above 15ft (4.5m) mounting height, while the CW2+ works best from 8ft (2.4m) upwards. If you're looking to install below 15ft, the CW2+ is recommended — get in touch for plot-specific guidance.

Yes, through two primary mechanisms. By catalysing nitrogen fixation of ammonia in the soil, electroculture systems prevent an over-accumulation of ammonia. When soils are too rich in ammonia, the plants within that soil interact in a unique way with infrared light spectrums which insect pests can visually see. This infrared heat signature signals to pests that the plant is a weakened host for infestation — and those pests then spread soil-borne disease.

The second mechanism is the electroculture system's ability to depolarise the surface charge of high-chitin insects such as Japanese beetles and cicadas. These insects rely on their surface charge for navigation, and once depolarised, they move on.

Firstly, electroculture reduces disease through insect mitigation, as covered in the previous answer. The second way disease is prevented is through the general vitality of the plant — a healthy, strong plant is generally more resistant to disease. Electrical charge also helps prevent the corruption and decay that disease often feeds on.

The brass telluric rod should be oriented to face south using a compass.

The Cloud Sea Aqua Inductor is neither a vortexer nor a filter. It's a dynamic water treatment device using direct induction by applying Lenz's law — inducting voltage directly into flowing water, enhancing coherence and providing the charge of living waters.

Not likely. While it isn't impossible, no Living Field electroculture antennas have been reported to be struck — this is likely due to their paramagnetic rock core filling.

Bury the wire just below your deepest tillage or cultivation depth, ideally in the rhizome layer. For instance, if your maximum tillage depth is 30cm (12in), install your conductor at least 35cm (14in) deep. Full detail is covered in our ground wire installation video.
